Mr. Beatnick - The Synthetes Trilogy (Cover Art by Emily Evans)
Previously better known for more downtempo releases, such as CDR-anthem, I Know All The Bitches, Mr. Beatnick made a considerably wider impact with his last three EPs for Don’t Be Afraid, showcasing a compelling and varied, house-orientated sound. The Synthetes Trilogy compiles the majority of those songs on to one CD.
All our favourites are included, such as the orchestral disco of Synthetes, the deep grooves of Symbiosis and melodious arpeggios of Savoir Faire; plus new tracks such as Waning Moon (which has a great new video by Nic Hamilton) complete the package perfectly. The Synthetes Trilogy is available digitally from October 21st and on CD from October 28th.
Special mention must also go to illustrator Emily Evans who was responsible for the wonderful artwork for the whole package. You can still read our interview with Emily here.
If you’re in Dalston November 1st, head to Kristina Records, where Mr. Beatnick will dropping a free in-store set to celebrate the album’s release.
